Deleting Email only on phone? How?

I get my E mail on my computer and on my phone. On my previous phone it had an option to "delete message on handheld only" or "delete message from mailbox and handheld".

By choosing the first one, I could get the mail off my phone but keep it on my computer.

How do I do this on the HTC Thunderbolt? No one at the store knew how to do it either Not much help there. Then again, I left the store and couldn't make a phone call.... let's not go there....

Can you help me? How do I delete Emails so they only are deleted on my phone and not on my computer?

Please always include the specific email app and email account in questions like this. It's impossible to answer without details.

Odds are that you'll need to find an email app with that feature.

I want to delete email from my server when I delete it from the razr

Using Outlook email and want to delete emails not only from razr but from outlook too. Had an option on the blackberry but see nothing on razr settings.
