Deleted shortcut to applications

Twice today I've accidentally deleted the shortcut to my applications from the bottom bar. The first time I ended up uninstalling ADW launcher and reinstalling it to get it back. What a pain! I'm sure there must be an easier way to restore that shortcut. My phone is a Samsung Fascinate, not rooted.
