Deleted a fold in HTC Sync manager and it deleted to fold on my computer...

So I was trying to put pictures from my Mac to my Droid DNA via the HTC Sense Sync manager and I went to remove it from what I thought was just the gallery and it actually deleted the files off of my computer... It did not send them to the trash or anything they are just gone! I want to get them back but don't want to pay for a file recovery software or anything like that.

Anyone have a similar problem?

Deleted a playlist in HTC Sync manager and it deleted most of my music files ...

i have a similar problem, i deleted a couple playlists in htc sync manager and usually it doesn't delete the actual files but i noticed some songs were missing from itunes and my cpu running really high so i notice htc sync manager was deleting my files therefore i quickly ended the program. i was able to restore most files from the recycling bin but some files were still missing and their' location still unknown. i fear that they may have been deleted permanently ?
