Dead Droid X ? Help!!!

My Droid X is dead...i think. The battery was running low and before i could grab the cord it died for good. I connected the charger and its been on for an hour now with the green led lit up.When i press the power button it wont turn on at all.When i disconnect the charger the green light will go away but still wont turn on. Any guesses?

Thanks, i tried that and still nothing. I took a friends DX and swapped batteries and it started up fine. Anyone hear of batteries just taking a dump like that?
