The Note Edge seemed to be quite the gimmick device, but it turns out the curved edge adds a really nice aesthetic. It looks much better on the Galaxy S6 Edge with both sides curved. If you wanted to ditch TouchWiz on the Note Edge in favor of AOSP you now have your chance. CyanogenMod 12.0 brings has been ported to the Galaxy Note Edge bringing vanilla Lollipop to your device.

You will need to be rooted with custom recovery installed. You will also need to be sure to do a full data wipe on the first install of CyanogenMod. The rom is already rooted, but you will need to enable the root functions in the developer options in settings. DO NOT flash supersu separately. Head to the link below to grab CM for the Note Edge.

I'm interested to see how CM utilizes the edges. Did they stick with the stock Touchwiz functionality of the edges or did they incorporate their own twist?

probably neither early on. I do remember back in the day CM on the Note 2 had incorporated the Spen features.

There are no Edge functions right now. If you want SPen functionality there is an optional side load.

This version is not for the TMo branded Edge, but one can be found in the TMo Edge Development section on XDA. It is not ready for daily driver usage so make a Nandroid before taking the plunge.
