Cyanogen Mod for D2

I'm just curious, is cyanogen mod (6 or 7) any better than the current suite of roms available for the x/2?

Also, just to verify, the reason cyanogen mod is unavailable for the D2 is because of the locked bootloader correct?

I don't know about better because I've never used cm, but their is more support on themes and customization for it.

Yes, we don't have cm because of the locked bootloaders. True aosp roms wont boot because of moto's modifications to the kernel they force on us.
