custom rom for me?

Anyone know if I can get A rom that is customized for what I want...
1. allow for ota updates
2. sync to fb and that bloody Verizon backup thingy
3. do not require wipe of data and cache
4. makes the speaker as loud as other phones.

or if there is even a list out there some where that I have not searched? yeah i've tried a few.. but I keep coming back to stock.

If your coming from Stock then you shouldn't have to wipe data or cache. But if you do switch ROMs (Going from ROM to ROM..) Then make sure you read the instructions because it may require it.

Cheers!

yeah.. I have been doing wipe of data and cache when checking out a rom.. then I revert back if its not what I expected.

now that I finally learned how to use titanium backup pro, I will be revisiting past roms and see if there's one I like.

Drunk.

If you are rooting, who care about over the air updates? A custom ROM will be generated with the new software anyways……..

Sync to Facebook, Rummy’s does!

Don’t require a wipe of data & cache? It’s takes a short time to load everything, not a big deal …..

Speaker Loud? The Droid X has a loud as **** speaker to begin with!

Pick a ROM and loaded it!

Good Luck…………

I'm reading up on Rooting VS. Custom ROM. Am I to understand that a custom ROM removes all of the bloatware and does not void my warranty? If so, this is a safer option for me and less maintenance on my part, correct?

What is the best custom ROM for the DX?
It's the Dead Horse Rom.

Have a look at the Boot Image before you jump on it, however, as it's not for everyone.

Rooting voids your warranty. You must root to install a custom ROM.
