Custom Ringtones "Disappear" After Installing ADW or LauncherPro

Hello.. when I've installed LauncherPro or ADWLauncher, I've noticed that my custom ringtones become unavailable. Has anyone run into this problem? I've had to uninstall, delete the ringtones folder, and add it back in order to fix this. I'm new to Android, so please go easy on me

According to my system info, I have:
System Version 2.4330A965.Verizon.en.US

I've been using launcher pro since summer and I have custom ringtones.

If the ringtones are there you should just need to reassign them, not delete them.

Thanks for the response. I'm curious.. did you have to rename or recreate the ringtones folder? Does it matter if the phone is rooted or not? What's your secret? Mine is not rooted..
