Custom notification tones?

Recorded my 18 month old son laughing using Ringdroid. I want to use it as a notification tone (tone when receiving texts etc.). l can't figure out how to do this. Setting new ringtones is easy but using a custom tone for general notifications, not so easy. Anyone know how to do this?

Make sure when you save you save as notification, should be there or just make it defult

Figured it out. Thanks. Didn't notice the ability to change how you saved it before. All is well.
