Creating Subfolders?

I have 4 folders on my left home screen. One of them, UTILITIES, is getting rather full and I need to add subfolders to further organize it. Is there a way to add subfolders? I can't find it. I'm sure android MUST be able to do this, after all, we've had subfolders since before DOS!

I got Apps Organizer and it's great...but it doesn't answer the question of how to make subfolders. Can you put a label inside another label?

I loved app organizer but i felt it slowed me down so i uninstalled it. i would love to know if sub folders are possible too.
