creating live wallpapers

I see a lot of live wallpapers on the android market and was curious to see if there was a way to create my own live wallpaper coming from regular video clips? I'm pretty good with computers but I'm not an advanced user by any means. Is there a relatively easy way to create one? Thanks for any help.

Maybe when they release the tool they have been working on it will be easier.
