I'm running stock 2.1 android on my droid, but lately my phone has been very, very laggy. Often times, I'll try to unlock my phone only to have it freeze for about 5 seconds then reboot. I'm also noticing quite a bit of lag when using the touch keyboard (stock, multi-touch, or smart keyboard) or switching between my home screens. I use helix launcher 1.
I'm wondering if anyone else still running stock has experienced these issues as well.
I am on the fence about rooting as my phones tend to need warranty service at least once in their lifetime. I'm not sure if rooting and overclocking would even solve the issue.
Any advice?
