Good point. Samsung, even if it's a different division, making screens and things for Apple while Apple gets Samsung Mobile's devices, old or not, banned in the US? Lame.

You don't remember a while back Apple demanded, and got, a price cut on parts while suing Samsung for patent infringement?
That's when I stopped closely following the whole mess because Samsung evidently wants to be pushed around.

I'm sure there is more to the story. Plus let's not make Samsung out to be the victim. As much as I am a fan of Android, there were things in the past that Samsung made that made me think "looks like a bad knock off of iPhone."

Samsung continuing to make parts for Apple is called smart business. Keep your money diversified so if one area have a bad year the entire company doesn't die. Like they say, it isn't personal it's business.

Last. This is basically a paper win. Apple won by making sure no more S3s or below are sold. Samsung emptied their inventory a long time ago of those phones. The only people who may suffer are 3rd party vendors. Even the phones that are sold now Samsung isn't getting a cut. At the end of the day Apple can say they won and this did not really affect sells as we are coming upon the s7 (4 generations removed from the S3).

Actually, 3rd party vendors will not suffer if they had stock. They are not held responsible and are able to sell what they have. Sammy is the responsible party and can not sell any device that is listed in the suit.
