counts are off

my email accounts are showing that there are emails in the trash, even though they have been emptied. Also, i no longer am getting a count in the email box. I show a light when I get an email, but not how many or the number is wrong. anyone else having this problem?

:welcome: to the Droid Forums. Can I ask how you have your mail set up? Are you using K9 or stock mail app? Do you forward your mail to gmail?

i'm not sure

i set up two accts along with my gmail. one is work, and the other is home. they were working fine. i can't say when it started however, several verizon techs said it may have been caused by a softward update...
