Costs of Micro SDHC cards

I was needing a bit more storage, and was looking on ebay for another 16g sd card, and was looking for 32g ones too... so I googled them to try to find some reviews of different companies that make them. I found one news article that stated that if a 32g sd card is $200 American, it is worth 11 times its weight in gold. Damn man, thats expensive. It also brought up the idea that you could store 60 hours of hd programming on this chip thats smaller than a dime, meaning I could accidentally eat 3 days of hd programming lol.

Yep. It takes a lot of transistors to store 32gb of space, and it takes a lot of manufacturing error to get enough transistors to store 32gb on a card the size of your fingernail. The cost will come down, but for now, it's just one of those things.
