Converting text msg. picture to contacts icon?

Hello! I was wondering whether anyone could tell me how to move a picture someone sent me of themselves to be their icon in my contacts folder? Thanks! I have a Samsung Charge....

i'm assuming that your friend sent the pic via mms. so first off, save the pic by long pressing on it. once you have it saved it will show up in your gallery. next open up contacts app, select friend, hit menu, edit, long press on generic photo icon and the option to set pic from gallery will show up.
