Contacts Sync Issue

Experiencing a glitch in synching Google contacts with Droid contacts. If I have two different people with the same/similar names in Google contacts, they are combined to one contact on Droid. I tried doing two slightly different versions of the name (like 'Jim Jones' and 'Jimmy Jones') but all the info was still combined in one contact on the Droid. Any tricks I should know?

Sort them in your Gmail contacts off the web and resync.

Log into Gmail and go through your contacts list. Something is probably going on in there. My wife has different phones and for some reason my Droid was merging them as 1 contact. I went into Gmail and discovered this, fixed it and no more issues. I hope it helps you!

go to gmail on your computer. go into contacts and fix or sort contacts. then re sync on your phone under accounts
