Contacts--Rooted MD1

I have been rooted now for about 2 weeks. Trying out different ROMs, themes and the like...however, my contacts seem to be messed up. I've lost some, some are only under the starred menu, can't seem to figure out why certain contacts are sync'd with facebook (and I know this can only happen if they have their phone numbers on facebook). Is there an easy fix for this, or a way to totally redo my contacts? (Wipe them out and start over) TIA for any suggestions...

I have a rooted Droid. I've installed quite a few different Roms. I use Gmail for my contacts and I've never lost one. I do not use FB so I'm not sure how that process works.

It's odd...I really don't understand it...hmmm

:edit: Nevermind I figured it out...imported contacts from SD card...all fixed...

Did you check you contact settings to see if everything is selected to display?
