Contacts App Keeps CLosing

I need to edit the basic contacts app that came with the D2G. On GB. Suddenly, whenever I need to add or edit or delete a contact, it just closes when I try to take an action on a contact. I had to import my contacts from the sd card vcf and everything is duplicated. Basic import routine did not ask if I wanted to merge and or not import duplicates. Also have GoContacts installed, but need access to the basic app for adding some contact info, etc. What do I do? I think I set GoContacts to be the default program in one action recently, but cannot find where to over ride that decision or change it. Maybe that had something to do with the problem.

I had a very similar problem, and it had to do with freezing some bloatware with Titanium Backup. I froze the yahoo contacts and yahoo authenticator, and the same thing happened to me. I don't know if that helps at all, but I had the same thing you described.

That was it. Unfroze and now it works.
