Hello all, short time lurker, first time poster.
I've got a bit of a problem regarding my girlfriend's number and text messages. Her Facebook profile has her number, sans the area code so xxx.xxxx
My address book has her full number with the area code - 330.xxx.xxxx
When I try to send her a text message, it picks the Facebook number and throws my area code on there (412.xxx.xxxx), then gives me the business about how it's a landline.
Obviously I could probably fix this by separating her address book profile from her Facebook profile, but there's got to be a more elegant solution than that.
Bonus round: I had this problem when using the built-in SMS app, but it went away when I installed Handcent. Now it's back since I updated to Froyo! blaaargh
Edit: actually, separating the accounts didn't even work. So damn.
