contact issue

i did a factory reset on my phone today after i tried to remove my facebook account and the phone completely froze and when i took the battery out and put it back in it only booted up to the red eye. anyways the reason i wanted to remove my facebook because in my phone contacts under linked profiles it said i had about 100+ linked profiles for every contact. i dont know if thats because facebook kept updating and adding links, i was wondering if this is maybe what is causing everyones text messeging app to be unresponsive because its weeding through 100+ linked contacts, anyone else think that too?

Yes, I just have not used anything but the internet for facebook. Hopefully all the linked profiles will be adressed. And thank you for the welcoming
