Contact App goes to wrong contact

I'm having trouble with the standard contact app. When I open it and choose a contact the program goes to the previouse contact I looked up. If I go back and choose the contact again it goes to that contact. Anypone having this type pf problem. It's not a killer problem, but certainly annoying!
