Connection To Stereo

Sometimes when I have my phone hooked up to my stereo in my truck and once I start playing music, my phone will shut off. It never does it any other time but in my truck. Does anyone know why it does that?

When you say shuts of you mean your phone powers down?

Is it hooked to your stereo through the headphone jack? My guess is the stereo might not be 100% solidly grounded and may be giving off juice through the aux jack.

Yea it powers down. But it's weird because if i have a notification the light still blinks when it powers down. And I don't think it powers down all the way because it skips the motorola logo and goes straight to the "droid eye" and reboots from there.
