Communication between Droid and Eris on same Verizon Account

Yesterday, I found out that I am unable to call the Eris that is on my account and owned by a friend. When I dial her number, I hear it ringing but she receives this message:

Sorry!! The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

Spent an hour at the Verizon store with them on the phone to their technical people and still could not figure it out.

I am able to text this phone and other Droids can call and go through to it.

Has anyone else seen this problem.

thats sounds like a verizon issue because there should be no reason that you cant call any other phone number on the verizon network reguardless of the account.


might want to try to reprogram both phones...

to program them i belive the number is *228 then follow the instructions

No problems here as I have a Droid and my wife has the Eris. I hope you get it figured out. :motdroidhoriz:

Thanks for answering, I am on my way back to Verizon store and hope they can figure it out.

I believe that they did a soft reset on both phones, might have to do a hard reset, we will see.
