Has anyone seen what's been called "Tattoogate"?

Dark tattoos can throw off Apple Watch s heart rate sensor

I'm curious whether it would function on a dark skinned people.

Racist would be if it was intentionally done to thwart sales to certain ethnic groups. The only color Apple would care about is green, the color of money. They'll take the green no matter the color of the hand giving it up.
This sounds more like they didn't get all the sensor bugs, the reason for the delay in release, before pushing it out.

I wasn't accusing Apple of being racist. The watch is obviously racist, regardless of Apple's openness to diverse demographics.
