Just thought I'd add this to the topic.. live.cnn.com also works on Froyo with great frame rate. The only thing I've seen wrong with it is fullscreening the video can be a challenge sometimes.
CNN uses .mov files apparently for their streaming. I tried to watch the oil disaster video, and it downloaded a .mov.
I read a few places to try renaming it to .m4p. I just gave up. It's enfuriating that everything has become so iPhone dependent, while leaving out the rest of the mobile market. I know a lot of people own iPhones, but is it really enough to justify ignoring the rest of the mobile market? /rant
i had that same issue, and then when i tried to watch them, a screen flashed up that said it couldn't open the file...besides, who wants to have to download and then watch videos??? i added Skyfire (in the market, for free) as my browser and NOW, i can watch all the videos i want!!!!
i just watched th enew christina aguilera video on www.cnn.com on my droid running ultimatedroid froyo beta with nextheme and she is so hawt!!! god damn sexy as hell she is wearing like nothing in the new video
