Clockwork won't back up rom

Everytime I go to nandroid backup my rom it says that sd card cant or isnt mounted. why is it doing this and what can I do to fix this? Id like to backup my stuff whenever id like but its acting up

can you read your sd card when teh phones on?

yes. after a reboot i went into rom manager and went to do a backup, when it first went to back up it said sd card wasnt mounted multiple times, then it rebooted back to recovery, i tried backup again and it worked... weird.

but i cant find the folder with the backup. its not in my nandroid folder
