Cheapdroids.com sucks
I just sent them this e-mail. And I never really write letters like this, they just pissed me off sooooo much!
I cant believe how terrible your company is.
I understand business, and if there is an owner who cares about this business, see to it that he/she receives this letter.
I am your target customer. I am very excited about my new Droid Incredible, I have money to spend, and I like accessories and stuff. I found your website, and it is great.
It's very well-planned, and I like the way you shop for your particular phone model. I've never had a bad experience online shopping before, so I decided to place an order.
I ordered a car charger and a skin for my new Droid. The car charger (which I depend on) didn't fit. I checked my order. It was a car charger for the HTC DROID INCREDIBLE. I checked my phone. I had the HTC DROID INCREDIBLE.
AND IT DIDN'T FIT.
So, I called, the rep said it was a mistake. Fine, I would send it back.
So, I sent it back. At my own expense.
At the same time I spoke to your rep I told her to cancel the order for the skin. She didn't.
I got an invoice, which I promptly replied to, and told them to cancel the skins. . . I couldn't wait, and got them from Amazon, much quicker.
I got the skins, and sent them back, again, at my own expense.
And then, when you finally issue me a credit, you don't refund the shipping and handling? ? ? When you sent me THE WRONG ITEM and I RETURNED IT AT MY OWN EXPENSE. And then I canceled another shipment and received it anyway and sent it back at my own expense.
So, I'm out like ten bucks or so mailing incorrect items back. And I paid the shipping, whatever it was, and I don't get that back?
So, you've pissed off your target customer. You beat me for the shipping and handling, woo hoo. You win. I'm not calling my lawyer for $6.99.
But I do need a spare battery, and I'm thinking of buying a battery charger and car mount.
But do you, small business owner, think I'll ever order from this site again?
