I was thinking about dropping my smartphone and getting the cheapest phone out with the cheapest plan and buying a zoom. Would this be a good idea or no?

I thought about the same thing. My pros were that I am grandfathered in to unlimited and could user my Xoom everywhere. Sweetness!!!

I decided against it because realistically its so much easier to carry a phone. Plus with the bionic I can just cart an hdmi cable and connect to a tv.

Sent from 1976 utilizing a 1.21 gigawatt connection. Yes, bionics were around then, they were still just working things out.

so get a "dumbphone" and carry a xoom?

rather just carry a smartphone and keep the xoom at home like i do now. I have a wifi xoom and when I use it on the road I can tether from my smartphone.
