CHEAP charging port

Sup guys just wanted to share my story i guess... I was txting on my phone while it was charging and i dropped the phone 3 feet onto my soft bedroom carpet and it happened... Conveniently fell where the charger meets the charging port and bent/broke everything to hell and back. Just makes u mad when you do everything u can to protect your 300 dollar smartphone and something like this happens... I dont know why i expect quality anymore. Luckily verizon sympathized they didnt make me file insurance but replaced it with a warranty.. certified preowned. Mine is still flawless since march 17th, they said this one will be too i sure hope so. If you havent noticed yet im pretty paranoid lol i just like taking care of my thing i guess i just posted to tell u guys that the charging point can be very easily damaged take caution. Thanks for all the great info on here. I know its still my fault for dropping it it was just one of those times like, really..
