changing the Verizon Wireless text for CM 6

How do I change the Verizon Text to something I want to put on? Tried app pulldown and it did not work. So what can I do???
 
I did it with a program for metamorph called pulldown editor. I will have to find a link to it and will post it Friday. Going to bed now.
