changing icons while odexed?

Can you change icons in an odexed system. Is it as simple as using apktool and switching the pngs? Or is it just not doable at all odexed. Alternately is there an easy way to deodex wirhout damaging anything or is there a batch process for switching icons? I'm trying to get my razr maxx a little customized but i want it to all be stuff that i can learn quickly and run without safestrap (i.e. not a full blown custom rom.)

yes you can change icons in an odexed system or deodexed. and no it will not damage the apk. unless you change line files. as far as batch icon change is a themed version but your using there pre-existing icons. for your other question sorry i dont have an answer other then manually doing each apk. if you find away hopefully post it.
