changing boot screens AAAAGHHHH!!!

Just switched to a new rom after running the inc2 HD rom for about a month and a half. I still have that annoying mikroms boot screen agghhhh!!! I wish I could just have a startup screen that isn't flashing and freaking out for 5 minutes.... Maybe just an old school boot screen that said wtf was going on...

Speaking of which, I hope the new rom install went ok... Buggers still flashing the same silly screen for about 5 minutes.

I don't know what you have, But my Dinc2 is rooted with Liquid Smooth ROM. I don't know if it's the same with everything. With Liquid, You go into Liquid settings, goodies, boot.

There's usually a setting in the tweaks to change the bootscreen (or get rid of it entirely)

If your ROM doesn't include support for it already, there are plenty of apps on the market that will make the process easy without having to go into the file system.
