change unlock slider position

the unlock slider is lower in apex than in stock and it just seems a little more inconvenient, is there any way to raise it up?

I believe this is the stock position for the latest Droid X official VZW Froyo firmware, 2.3.340 (carried over in Apex). Correct me if I am wrong.

After months of using it like this, I like it this way better than when it was up higher..I also like the chunkier look of the newer sliders compared to the older normal ones.
Either way though, I use Widget Locker to add other stuff and I am currently using "Dark Gingerbread" which are the same sliders but black

Also, Widget Locker lets you change the position of the sliders to any height almost, so there is your answer..

Stock position is higher up, even on 2.3.340. I preferred the higher position and the AOSP design on the old lockscreen, but it doesn't bug me enough to do anything about it.
