Change number for text?

Just wondering if there is an app or something where i can change my number when im texting someone? kind of like the caller id faker for calling people does?

No, its free, but you need an inivite https://services.google.com/fb/forms/googlevoiceinvite/ or you can buy one on ebay or one of the many websites that sell them.. and you cant do pic messages yet with the texts but supposovely soon, and texts are free with google voice.

You get to choose it from a list based on numbers available for your area code. Only calls you get charged for are International.

It might use your minutes if you call with it but im not sure if it does.

BTW if you are thinking of changing the number often it will cost $10 each time you want to change your Google Voice number.

Also, there are a number of online services that allow you to send SMS msgs for free. Google Voice is the only way I know of the send AND receive msgs though..
