Case to prevent a cracked screen

I dropped my droid onto the asphalt and the screen is pretty much shattered. I can still use it but it's got cracks all over the place...

My new one should be delivered tomorrow and I am wondering if anyone can recommend a case that would prevent this kind of thing.

The phone landed face down so I am not sure what a case could do really. :icon_question:

im uncoordinated, lol, but the screen protectors and cases sold at vzw have stopped many a scratch on my screen dancedroid
