Can't text images

I tried testing a picture earlier and for some reason it will not go through. I keep getting the message "invalid delivery address. Any thoughts on what is causing the issue? My phone is completely original.

This was the first time I have attempted sending a picture on this phone. I tried sending to a few different people.

your stock text app may be messed up try handcent or go sms to test connection issues.

I am using handcent and the original text program, both giving me the same message.

I just tried with handcent and it worked. Try uninstalling and reinstalling handcent. Is handcent on your phone or SD card?

sounds like your messaging is screwed up then, but might be Verizon too, can u text normally? also are you rooted and did you freeze any apps/run any scripts?

Thanks, I'll do that. Honestly I'm not sure where it is downloading to. I'm new to this, coming from an iphone.

I can text normally, just not pics. I hate to say this but I don't even know what rooted or freezing apparently and scripts means.

Ok well first, you want to goto setting/applications/manage applications/media area. Make sure nothing is checked now (Until the fix with OTA update in Nov). If anything is checked, uncheck it and move it to phone. If after reinstalling and it none of these suggestions work, let us know

I'm also having this issue, using go sms pro. Even tried using stock messaging and still nothing. Any ideas?

Odd that you can't pic with the stock app I only had issues when it was frozen for me you are obviously not rooted so try doing a factory reset as last resort but I wonder if reactivating your phone would help, dial *228 and hit option 1( if it doesn't work don't worry) then dial it again and do option 2(will update your roaming and tower capability's ).
