Can't root

I'm not totally sure what has happened but my phone did an update recently and since then I cannot root it anymore
Please help
The only reason I rooted it to begin with was so that I could use the unlimited tether, since I am on the unlimited plan.
I drive truck over the road and do not have much access to internet without it

Or you could simply download and install the Foxfi WiFi tether which doesn't require root!
