Can't log into Android Market

I have been able to open the Android Market up to today. Now when I try to I get a Google sign-in that is asking for my Password saying my user name is [email protected]. I can log into my You tube account, but that password does not work for the Google sign-in to the Android Market. I don't want to do a hard reset and lose my settings.

I had that happen and the way I fixed was to delete my login information for YouTube. It's been a couple of weeks and I haven't added it back, but I'm not a big YouTube user.

I ended up doing the same thing. I also noticed that this OS likes to require the creation of accounts for everything (logon's), ie: YouTube which I rarely if ever use. I also deleted the accounts I don't use and noticed I got errors when for some reason the OS had determined I wanted to sync my contacts with various accounts which I don't. Unselecting these sync options has stopped the login error messages, or so it seems.
