Can't download mms

My friend sent me a picture message and it came to my inbox but then when I try to view it, it gets stuck on "downloading".

It says its only 20kbs so I can't imagine the 12+ hours its been downloading is nessesary. Anyone having the same problem

I've put up with that ever since I got this device. Its not ROM specific. It's Verizon specific. Usually affected more by less signal, but not always the case.

Same problem here. Seems to only happen with MMS from ATT users.
