Cant Delete Texts

Ok so my texts are really starting to add up, guessing i got 3700 text on my phone. I use handcent but every time i hit delete threads it just sits thier and i have to force close it and reboot my phone for it to work right. any ideas

This has been gone over so many times. My best advice is to do a search and follow the instructions. Good luck.

You have so many texts, the OS either can't handle it or it takes so long to delete them, the OS thinks the app has stalled and FCs it. Probably going to have to manually delete a bunch to get it down to a more manageable number and not let your texts get so ridiculous in the future.

Search for the app "Delete Old messages."
Thats what I use and works pretty good I suppose.
