Just started to happen today:
Go to the Apps list, long press on App, Select "Add to Home". App icon appears on the Home screen like normal behind the "cloud", Get the usual message , saying "move to place, return to exit". Move App a bit, take finger off and App does not show on Home screen. No error messages, it just does not appear.
This happens on the "Main" home screen ( the middle of the 7 screens ) which as 4 empty spaces. If I try a different home screen, I seem to be able to do place the app on that screen.
This seemed to start after I installed "Waze". I have since uninstalled Waze and did a reboot/battery pull, Still can not add an App to the Main Home screen?
I am running a stock phone with the Verizon version of Gingerbread: No third party launchers or hacks.
Any thoughts?
Tim
