Canendar sync issue caused by time zone error

How many people notice this issue?

My HTC Rezound has a problem getting the correct time zone when daylight savings time is involved. It choose Mountain Standard Time instead of Pacific Daylight Time in auto mode. This causes calendars to be off by one hour (or even the wrong day for all day events) when viewing or setting an event that is in a part of the year that has a different daylight savings time setting. Makes the calendar unreliable. Everyone must have this issue but may not have noticed yet.

Many bug reports and complete reset of the phone does not change the problem.

I had called Verizon awhile back for that issue; they said it's a known bug and they're "working on it" (it's a network issue) . I'm in AZ, so for the next few months I can leave on auto, then I'll have to set it manually again.
