Cancelling a sending text message?

I often send text messages that are incomplete by accident when I'm texting, is there any button/way I can hit so that it stops it from sending?

Nope -- send is send. I usually follow those types of messages up with an apology, or an adamant blaming of someone else.

I don't think there is a way to stop them unfortunately.

sometimes i don't think about it and send it to the wrong person XD
that's always good for a laugh

I used to have this problem with the physical keyboard (accidentally hitting enter key)
But I changed to handcent and now I can set [enter] to go to the next line, and I haven't had that problem since
