Can you make the notification bar bigger?

Hi all.
I'd like to find out if there is a way to enlarge the skinny little notification bar up there on top - basically make it easier to touch/grab before pulling it down. I don't see any options or apps for this - does anyone know differently?

Easier to drag? You can begin a drag from anywhere above the actual screen, so I don't really think it's an issue for that (I normally start from the top of the phone). Maybe it'd be helpful to make it larger if you wanted to make the text/icons bigger.
