Can verizon store get me either back to 2.1?

Cant get my dx back to 2.1 have unrooted dx with leaked 2.2 was on phone for over 5 hrs last night with moto and verizon they informed me if I can't get it to work on my own it may b possible for a verizon store to flash me back to stock has anyone tried this?....can't get sbf or rds files to work on my win 7 pc any help would be greatly appreciated can't find thread on verizon flashing x so thought I'd ask

I don't know if they can, but honestly I wouldn't worry. There are plenty of links with step by step instructions how. Furthermore, don't let motorola's scare tactics worry you, andriod has the best community for help, and chances are the official file will leak out days beforehand and you can update manually.

So far I've seen that happen one time. That was FRG01B for the Droid 1. Can you give any other examples when this happened? I'm not trying to put you on the spot, I really am interested to know because I don't recall seeing that.

I read it on a thread when motorola broke the news days ago. They didn't cite specific instances but there were several links to posts I referenced above to try to relax everyone who was worried after the news broke.

Yes you can take your DX to a Verizon Corporate store and have them flash the original software back on there. The reps should have enough practice using RSD due to the issues with the D1 not properly updating to 2.2 and having to use RSD to flash the 2.2 software.
