Ok I have just added google voice as one of my friends and family..... now when i use my droid and google it wont get charged against my verizon minutes?? sound right????

you also need to enter the dial out # that google uses to make calls and it changes as you move around to different areas of the country. if you stay put in the same place then the number pretty much remains the same.

Unless you always dial out by calling your GV number or find an app that dials out using your GV number. IIRC, this is covered in many of the existing GV threads.

The GV app allows you to pick which service to use when making outgoing calls. They even have a widget so you can switch on the fly.
