Can the doubletwist music player see music on the internal storage

I use doubletwist to sync my stuffs and was wondering if after I loaded up my music to the sd card if I could copy it over to the internal storage (using astro file browser) in a folder and have doubletwist still see it on my DX. This would be amazing if it could because every gig more music I can stuff on my phone the happier android robot I am!

Thanks in advance and I'm running rooted 2.2 if that helps
