Can somebody help me to make my DROID 2 a wifi hotspot?

Im trying and been seeing i can make my phone a wifi hotspot i seen videos and have read about the droid x but i have not been nothing about the droid 2

can anybody help me out or tell me step by step on how to do it?

i will like use my droid 2 as a wifi and for free since i seen some videos. i try the google search of android wifi tether and for some reason it tells me i cant use it since idk

this is what i get after i download and install it

it states= "SORRY, BUT YOUR KERNEL DOES NOT HAVE ALL NECESSARY FEATURES FOR RUNNING THIS APPLICATION"

IDK MAYBE A WAY TO NOT MESS UP MY DROID BUT ALSO WORK AS I SEEN ON THE DROID X VIDEOS!
