As the title says. My wife has a droid2 on the official gingerbread update and her gallery is messing up so I thought I'd try replacing her gallery with the one from my D3? Will it jive together or will it cause an issue?

Edit: Both phones are rooted.

Well when you delete a pic it leaves a broken image icon that won't go away. If you click picture info it shows the time and date the original photo was taken. There is no way to get rid of the broken pic icon either.

Have you tried clearing the gallerys data and cache, and/or formatting the sd card?

I cleared the gallery's data, there was no cache to clear tho. I hadn't really thought about formatting the SD, i'll back everything up on the computer and give it a try.

I use the gallery 3D from the market on mine and I love it.

From the gallery you can't delete anything at all. You have to go in with a file manager and delete them at which point the broken image icons appear in the gallery. It's really getting on my nerves.

Wondering if the cache cleaners would help in this. Btw I delete from gallery with no problems.
